I love this set. The handiest thing that I would recommend is shopping for the Staunton #5. They are greater with more important levels and extra fun to make use of. I bought this set first after which exchanged it for the larger set. We love the set, can not stop taking section in chess.

This is a pleasant general set I ordered as a present for a 13yr old. I ordered from Yellow Mountain Imports with Amazon fulfillment. We obtained all pieces appropriately, with none lacking or mismatched. I'd like for the King and Queen pieces to be weighted a bit more, one thing that must be easy to do if you wish to have - but they're sufficiently weighted as-is and can upright the items even supposing leaned neatly over. The only tune up required was to trim a number of felt bottoms with scissors as they were applied with some overhang, but after that the chessmen seem to be great. The box is good with a removable wood divider, and the items go in with out cramming. Everything has a pleasing wood scent. For the fee paid it will get 5 big names.
